AV Club is a San Francisco-based computational arts collective of live electronic musicians and video artists bridging the art gallery and the club. Group members espouse a DIY ethic by building their own tools and systems. Loosely associated with Algorave, the heart of AV Club's operation is live performance, having hosted over a dozen shows at various SF venues since the group's inception in 2021, most notably Gray Area in the Mission.
Tonight, a subset of AV Club invades a prestigious computer music department with three audiovisual performances.

**Entropic** aka Ritwik Deshpande is an artist, producer and interaction designer. Through music, his intention is to cut through societal obfuscations and find direct connection with the organizing principles of the universe. With an approach that’s rooted in ancient storytelling traditions, he aims to combine computation with physicality to create ritualistic experiences that consume and cleanse the audience.
**Nathan Ho** is an SF Bay Area native, electronic musician, educator, and specialist in digital signal processing. His debut album “Haywire Frontier” was released on the Japanese label tokinogake in September 2023. His work combines his background in mathematics, science, and modern classical composition with aggressive, hypermodern sound design. A lifelong open source enthusiast, he is a former developer of SuperCollider and maintains an extensive library of free online resources for music technologists.

Polina Powers** (she/her) visual artist and researcher based in Bay Area. Polina’s art explores relationships between nature and technology through latent space, digital sculpting and live code. She has been performing with AV Club SF in various cities in California showcasing a blend of AI visuals mixed with Hydra. Polina has been building custom datasets and training various AI models since 2018; she loves researching emerging AI technologies. IG: @polina_powers
**R Tyler** is a San Francisco-based algorave performer, electronic music producer, and visual artist. In 2023 he was invited to perform algorithmic dance music at SXSW, Spectra Studio Los Angeles, Indexical Santa Cruz, and bi-coastal audiovisual events with Livecode.NYC, AV Club SF, Club Code, and Gray Area SF.
His EP ‘Xuixo’ was released on the xenharmonic record label Split Notes this year under the alias ‘Relyt R’, which he reserves for experimental techno made with live-coding, machine learning, odd time signatures, and alien microtonal harmonies. As R Tyler, he has released Live-Code Volume 1 and 2, featuring original dance music from his live sets, composed and performed with TidalCycles code.

Lukas Hermann** is a performer living in San Francisco. Informed by his architectural education, Lukas’s work focuses on exploring spatial forms and geometries generated with shaders.
