About Me:
I am a Lecturer (Assistant Professor) in Audio at the Institute of Sound Recording at the University of Surrey. I received the M.Sc. (Laurea Specialistica) cum laude in 2009 from the Università di Napoli "Federico II" in Telecommunication Engineering and the Ph.D. degree in Electronic Engineering in 2013 from King’s College London. Between 2012 and 2013 I was a Teaching Fellow at King's College London. Between 2013 and 2016 I was a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Department of Electrical Engineering of KU Leuven. I held visiting researcher positions at Stanford University (2013), Aalborg University (2014-2015), Imperial College London (2016) and King's College London (2018-current). I am an IEEE Senior Member and a former Marie Curie Fellow. My current research interests include room acoustics modelling, multichannel audio, beamforming and binaural modelling.
